Real moments. Real verses.
Three people. Three moments. The Quran found each one.
“I have an important interview tomorrow and I can't stop worrying”
وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ
“And whoever relies upon Allah — then He is sufficient for him.”
Surah At-Talaq · 65:3
The word ḥasbuh — sufficient — implies a completeness that no English word fully holds. Your preparation is your tawakkul in action. This verse carries the rest.
“I lost someone I loved and I don't know how to keep going”
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”
Surah Al-Baqarah · 2:156
This verse was given not as a platitude but as a map. Innā — we are. Rājiʿūn — returners. The loss you feel is the distance of a journey, not an ending.
“I feel distant from Allah. My prayers feel empty lately.”
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”
Surah Ar-Raʿd · 13:28
The verse doesn't say worship — it says dhikr, presence. The emptiness you feel is a living heart seeking. A dead heart doesn't ache for closeness.
Three steps. A lifetime of meaning.

I opened Waq at 2am when I couldn't stop crying. What it gave me made me exhale for the first time in weeks.
